Weninger Apartman Lakas

The appearance was awful, though the place itself was quite okay.

The rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and TVs, and the place was very clean, well equipped, and in a good location. Still, we had a really upsetting incident. On a hot night, we left the ground-floor terrace door slightly open with the mosquito net shut. At dawn I woke to something rattling near the suitcase. On our last day, a young man who looked about 18 to 20 crawled in through that door and started packing the luggage, presumably to steal it. He wasn’t aggressive and didn’t take anything, so we eventually got him to leave, but I was shaken and couldn’t sleep afterward for a long time. The lesson for us was to keep ground-floor terrace doors and windows closed at night, or draw the blinds. Even with that incident, I’d recommend the place.

It looks much better once you’re inside than it does from outdoors. The beds were good and everything was clean. One small inconvenience: all three rooms in the apartment share a single key.

A tasteful, lovely apartment, with a well-equipped kitchen. The sheets and towels were good quality.
