The food was okay, but the staff were rude and unpleasant, especially with people who can’t speak Hungarian. When we said there were six of us, a big family, the waiter rolled his eyes and sighed. He looked bored with us a few other times too. I don’t recommend it. We’d have been better off finding a McDonald’s.

We used the tidy, clean, comfortable rooms as a base for visiting local attractions. The real surprise was the food, which was so good we didn’t bother looking for anywhere else. After our outings we went straight back to the restaurant, where the staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast was generous enough to get the day started well too. Five stars, and thank you. 👍

We came back for a second stay at the Gozmalom in June 2017, after spending three weeks there in July 2011. Once again, the rooms were clean and the service was excellent, with plentiful food at breakfast and dinner for a fair price. The staff were gracious and accommodating, always ready to help. This time there was no noise at all, so five stars from me. Thanks to everyone for being so gracious. We can’t wait to return. During our first stay it was a bit noisy, which you’d expect at a small roadside hotel. We kept the AC on and the windows shut.

There’s a nice range of very delicious food, and the staff are polite. Good quality and generous portions for the price.

The waiter was so helpful and accommodating with our little baby and small dog. The restaurant itself is wonderful, and the food looks and tastes amazing. Highly recommended around here.
