We just stopped in for coffee, so I can't say anything about the rooms or the rest. The coffee was fine. Give the cat a pet, it's really cute.

Everything I ordered came out in 15 minutes, and the food tasted great. The waiters were friendly and polite. The prices still felt too high, especially for breakfast, when Tejbolt on the other side of the square is just 50 meters away and serves breakfast for a third of the price.

I came over from Australia with my two adult children to retrace the route my family took when they escaped in December 1956. We had a great time here in September 2014. Being right in the center was lovely, and the rooms were lovely too, with beautiful views from the two we stayed in. The food was delicious, and the staff were a big help when we had a flat tyre.

The place is cozy, right on the main square, and the food was very nice. We tried pasta, salmon, pizza, and pörkölt, the Hungarian goulash, which I highly recommend. In my opinion, the menu is too broad. We went for breakfast at 10:30 and were told it wasn't possible because breakfast ends at 10. Apparently it was a break, and we couldn't order from the regular menu either since that starts at 11. We could have lived with it if we'd been told in a milder way, instead of getting a full-on complaint.

Andrea and her Team deserve six stars out of five 😉. I especially loved the excellent food, with a choice of local or international dishes, and everything was truly nice 😋😋😋. Hotel PORTRÉ has a real soul, charming rooms, and an incredibly lovely team. The place was extremely clean, much cleaner than many places in Switzerland. I loved it straight away and decided to stay a few extra days.
