This hotel was horrible. I came from England to enjoy Budapest and stopped here for a snack and a night, but afterward I had no desire left to explore Hungary. The soup they served was so bad I thought even pigs couldn't eat it. I tried to make it edible with salt and pepper, but the waiter came over yelling that I was ruining the dish. He swore at me in Hungarian, grabbed my head, and pushed it toward the soup, saying, "Eat it, you wanted it yourself." The room had cockroaches and everything was rotten. There were marks on the mattress that looked like bulls, and I found a pack of pads under the bed. The staff were awful. With that kind of bestial attitude, they belong in a slaughterhouse, not a hotel.

We had Sunday lunch here. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the location was quiet. Everything was clean and tidy.
