We had a really nice stay, and the place felt like good value. Our child could play in the garden while we cooked bacon, and at night the Milky Way was visible without the light pollution you get in Pest. The one thing we struggled with was the mattresses: both the living-room sofa bed and the bedroom bed beside the bathroom were very uncomfortable.

Even at the end of October, the house warmed up quickly and made for a lovely stay. The rooms were comfortable and each had its own bathroom. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, and having a bathtub was a big plus.

The setting is lovely, the house is high quality, and everyone is very nice. We’ve already stayed twice because we like being here so much. But the towels smelled really bad, and I suspect they may be putting too many things in the wash at once to save money. The mattresses are also much too soft and painfully uncomfortable. My partner had the same problem and slept badly too. We’re both 30, so it’s not an age thing.

Our host was really kind and helpful, and there was plenty to like for a group of friends. The hot tub was cozy, every room had a TV, the Wi-Fi was pretty good, and the mosquito nets, though not on every window, saved me from a lot of annoyance. The kitchen was fully equipped and the rooms were spacious. The beds were too hard, the shower pressure felt weak to me, there weren’t many power sockets, and I would have liked air conditioning. Bring a power strip and extension cord. Otherwise, I really can’t complain about the place. I’d definitely recommend it to groups of friends or larger families.
