Garden Vendégház Makó

Breakfast was good, and the host was welcoming. The rooms were very clean, the garden was lovely, and there was plenty of parking. It’s a quiet area, but close to the road, so traffic can be heard at night because of the nearby freeway exit. There’s a Shell close by, where I recommend filling up since fuel costs much less than on the highway. Some attractions are nearby, though we didn’t have time to visit. The host said the water was potable, but it had an odd color and smell.

We were greeted with some snaps when we arrived, and breakfast was included at a very reasonable price. It’s a clean guest house with a welcoming host and a lovely garden, where you can hear birds in the morning. A good stop for one night while traveling. Trucks on the road can be a bit noisy, but with the windows and doors closed, they weren’t a bother.

The staff and owner were so friendly and helpful that after just one day, we were sorry to leave. They even boiled water so we could make coffee during our trip. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the toilet and shower were also clean and well cared for. Breakfast was good, with a few kinds of meat, bread, and yogurt. The whole place is well looked after. I’d highly recommend staying here if you need a rest while traveling, or for a longer stay. Thanks for a great visit!

The garden is beautiful, and the rooms are nice. We booked at the last minute, but they were very accommodating and helpful, letting us check in late and making us a late dinner. Everyone was really friendly.
