Rose Gold Panzió

There’s a small parking area with cameras, and the friendly host welcomed us with a smile. The freshly renovated hotel was extremely clean. We had a nice room with a separate, private bathroom, and there’s a little bar at reception. It has its own spirit, a lovely place to lie down and drift off to sleep.

It was warm inside even though it was winter outside, and the bathroom was big. The owner was very polite and attentive to us. Breakfast was huge and traditionally Hungarian. I’d recommend the place and will come again. Thanks!

The owner asked us to pay an extra fee for our cats in the morning, even though the Booking.com listing said pets were allowed without an additional charge. I tried to explain, but he wouldn’t listen. We paid for the cats, and at that same moment he declined our Booking.com reservation. I suppose he did that because he didn’t want to pay the service fee or let us leave a review. The bathroom issue also wasn’t clear before we arrived: the listing said “private bathroom,” but didn’t explain that it was in the corridor, separate from the room, rather than inside as you’d usually expect. People should be told about the bathroom and extra charges beforehand. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I think that treatment of guests is inappropriate.

We stayed two nights and had a great experience. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom clean and tidy, and the interior elegant. Parking felt safe. Breakfast was very nice and delicious, and the hosts were helpful and very nice.
