Access to the thermal baths is included, and they’re magnificent. The hotel itself is new, spotless, and the food is good too. Dinner had plenty of tasty choices, and breakfast was delicious. The dining room and bar staff were welcoming, especially Gary, who has a great sense of humor and speaks excellent English. Thanks for the service, Gary! 😉🍻 The two women at reception on our departure morning were really kind and helpful. On the downside, you have to ask reception for a bathrobe since none is kept in the room, and there’s no kettle or coffee maker there either. Our arrival on August 15th was a very different experience. Renata at reception made us feel like we were a nuisance and practically threw our access cards at us. In all our travels in Hungary and elsewhere, we’ve never been treated so badly. It’s a real shame, especially since the rest of the staff were so welcoming and helpful, and everything else was impeccable.

You get a wide selection of delicious food, comfortable rooms, a nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. The director is open minded, too, and the spa pools are just a stone throw away. It’s an amazing hotel, and I highly recommend staying here. My groups have confirmed the top quality with 500+ guests. Don’t hesitate to book ASAP.

The only real upside was the location beside a nice thermal bath, with entry included in the room price. The rest left me disappointed. We were two adults with two small children and booked two rooms, but one smelled bad even though all rooms should be non-smoking. The rooms also weren’t clean, and they charged almost the full price for our five-year-old. We arrived after 21:30, and check-in took ages. Even though we’d already paid, they couldn’t find rooms for us and ended up giving us the smelly one. I slept in one bed with both kids while my husband had to use that room, but they still wanted us to pay for both children in both rooms. It was far too expensive for what we got. We won’t risk staying here again.

I gave it one star because zero wasn’t an option. I had a really unpleasant experience trying to book a weekend for six. I sent a request like anyone would and got a polite reply with payment instructions, so I went to the bank and paid. The next day, the bank said it couldn’t make the transfer without a pro forma invoice. I told the hotel, and that’s when the ordeal began. After 30 emails and a string of stupid replies, they still didn’t send the invoice, and I don’t know what the problem was. I hope the hotel owner reads this and sees how illiterate people at reception are putting the business at risk. Shame!
