The dog pool and fenced meadow were the highlight for our dog. He loved it so much that, given the choice, he’d have spent the whole day there. If your dog likes water, this place is a great fit. Our room had no air conditioning, but being on the ground floor with thick old brick walls kept it pleasantly cool, even when it was over 30 degrees outside. The room, shower and toilet were spotless, and the fridge was clean and kept our drinks and food cold. We’d had bad experiences with cleanliness elsewhere, so this was a real relief. The breakfast buffet is basic, but there’s enough to eat. My wife asked about gluten-free bread, and although it wasn’t mentioned anywhere, the hotel provided her with two freshly baked gluten-free baguettes every morning. Thank you for such thoughtful service! The staff were friendly and polite, and spoke English and German as well as Hungarian. Check-in was easy. One small thing to know: there’s usually a cat sitting on a chair opposite reception, which made things especially fun with our hunting dog. We were struck by how clean the whole property was as soon as we arrived. We’ll definitely come back.

The sauna and whirlpool made a restful stay even better. We had a really peaceful time, and everyone on staff was warm and welcoming. I’d recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

It’s very quiet around the hotel, so sleeping wasn’t a problem, and the rooms and rest of the place were clean. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, and some can get hot, though you can rent a fan. The staff are kind and friendly, but their English isn’t very strong, so it’s worth brushing up on your Hungarian.

The people here are nice, and the massage was great. Mrs. Ildiko really knows what she’s doing, and we enjoyed her massages. There’s also a jakuzzi, sauna and outdoor pool, and the place welcomes pets, though the daily dog fee felt a bit too expensive. The location is lovely for a quiet holiday, but it’s out of the way if you want more to do. To go for a walk, you need to drive at least 8km. Lenti in Hungary, the nearest larger town, is 20 minutes away; Murska Sobota is 25 minutes away, and the nearest shop is in Dobrovnik, Slovenia, a 10-minute drive away. Our room was okay, and the small kitchen worked fine. There’s no air conditioning, though. With it at 34 degrees C, we had to open both the main door and the window to get some air. The restaurant accepts cash only.
