They were welcoming when we arrived, but their attitude changed once we complained about small!!!! things. The room wasn’t the one shown on their page. We’d seen photos of the main building, but they put us in a room in the garden house instead. We’d reserved a double bed room, and only then were told it was in the garden, not the main building. The garden room had no sunshine and no windows apart from the one at the front beside the door. There wasn’t enough equipment for basic needs, like a hair dryer or a kettle for coffee or tea. In Hungary, you can’t find those things in shops after 5, so we had to wait for them to let us use their kitchen or wait until breakfast the next morning. When we raised the issue, the family, especially, were rude. The owner himself wasn’t the one behaving that way.

We spent four days here and would definitely come back. The owners were very friendly and spoke German and English. The room was clean and tidy, just right for a short break. Both breakfast and dinner were homemade, delicious, and served in generous portions. You'd have to blame yourself if you left hungry.

The family who owns the place is very nice, and they speak German. The rooms are really spacious. Breakfast was fairly basic, probably because there weren't many guests. The main downside is that they don't take card payments. Dinner has just one dish to choose from, and it costs €20, which is quite expensive.

We spent a week here and felt completely at ease. The host was incredibly friendly, and breakfast was delicious and generous. Everything was homemade. I especially loved the pancakes. 5 stars+.
