The hotel and pool area were very clean, and the pool, spa, and sauna were all great. The Superior Room was a favorite, modern, spacious, and very quiet. It looked out onto a small garden at the back, while the hall at the front had a city view. The pool's too small for laps, but it has fun water spouts and fountains that the front desk can switch on if you ask. It's an easy, short walk into town, down a few stairs and across the street. We really liked the hotel.

The room had a small cooler, but no kettle for making hot water for tea or coffee, which we missed. The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was generous, with lots of fruit. It's 1km from the square, with a great view and a relaxing atmosphere.

Breakfast is included in the price, and the pool was a huge bonus during another hot European summer. I had some of my best cool-down time in that pool. This was my second stay, and I'd gladly come back again. The pricing is great, the staff are friendly, and it's family owned, with the family working there too.

It's in a good spot, just a short walk from the city centre. I didn't visit the spa, so I can't comment on that. The hotel is OK, though it feels a little dated and would need some modernising to meet international standards. The air conditioning only works about halfway, so our room was quite warm.
