Hotel Bassiana

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is a cozy little place beside a park around the town castle. There’s a small wellness area and an outdoor pool, though the water was a bit too cold. If I come to Sarvar again, I’ll try to book here.

The restaurant was a real plus, with food much better than at the other nearby places we tried. Staff were always friendly and helpful too. We had a great kid-free holiday at this small, homey hotel in Sárvár. It has saunas, a gym, an indoor hot tub, and an outdoor pool. Since the hotel is small, we usually had the pool to ourselves, apart from one time when two other people were there. The hotel also has its own free entrance to the botanic garden next door, so it feels like having a huge, beautiful garden right there.

The food was absolutely fantastic, and the staff were really nice, friendly, and professional. The rooms have good equipment and air conditioning. It’s close to both the town center and the thermal spas, and the wellness area, saunas, and yakuzi were very good. The Covid-19 measures were at a very high level too. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is the best in Sárvár, and there are plenty of wellness options as well. The rooms are nice. You can also walk straight into the huge park behind the hotel for free, where trees from different parts of the world are grown for scientific study.
