The hotel nearby could be better maintained, especially the beach. The staff were very friendly. Parking was a bit far away but felt safe, and the hotel is right in the middle of the shops, restaurants, bars, and the rest.

Service was good, though it took a little time and didn't bother us. We had a great top-floor room with panoramic windows, but it was a bit dirty and had a very small TV. I also didn't like having to pay for air conditioning. The hotel has its own beach and is close to the main city and nightlife, so the location was very good. Breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast, just like anywhere else. For me, it's a 4 star hotel.

The hygiene was so poor that I’d warn anyone sensitive to cleanliness before booking. We reserved three rooms, and each day new spiders appeared from the air conditioning or other hidden places. The bathroom and balcony doors wouldn’t close properly, and breakfast felt like something from a two-star hotel. I’m doubtful about the five-star reviews, and would rate the hotel at two stars at most by EU standards.

We spent a week cycling around Lake Balaton with our group of 20, renting bikes nearby. The hotel sits right by the lake, with clear blue water and its own sandy beach. The place was clean and welcoming, and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Breakfast was great, and having the hotel’s own beach is a real plus. The rooms are comfortable and have terraces, though they could use some refurbishment. Air conditioning costs an extra €10; it works very well but makes a bit of noise. A very decent three-star hotel.
