Smeraldo Kastely Szallo

The beds were worn out and squeaked so much that we could barely sleep. There were cobwebs throughout the room, and not enough towels for six people. Some rooms smelled stale and musty, which made us worry there might be mold. The jacuzzi smelled old and heavily of chlorine, so it wasn't relaxing either. We were two families with our in-laws, six people altogether, and paid almost a four-figure sum for August 14th to 17th during peak season. The stay at Smeraldo Villa in Siófok was truly disappointing. It also seems like a scam that Google Maps lists it as "permanently closed - Smeraldo Villa" while booking portals like Booking.com still offer it. You pay upfront and get nothing back, and complaining is pointless. It was awful and absolutely not worth the money. Don't book.
