It was clean, and Balaton lake is nearby. A great place to stay.

At night, the noise was like trying to sleep inside a club. There’s a disco opposite with live music and karaoke going until 5:00 in the morning, and young people drink right by the fence, about 15 m away. Then at 6:00, someone was cleaning outside my window with a leaf blower. The windows aren’t soundproof, and the AC didn’t work properly. There are only transparent curtains, no blinds, and the bathroom had no toiletries or hairdryer. There wasn’t a coffee maker, kettle, or fridge in the room either, and the bathtub had no shower. I don’t understand why there’s a corner bath without one. The villa is beautiful historically and the room was clean, but there’s no point staying somewhere in this location if you can’t get a peaceful night. The owner acts like your friend and treats all this as normal, especially after giving you free wine. There’s no breakfast there, and the nearest option is a nine-minute walk away. I’m 34 and an artist, not some frail pensioner. This is only suitable for someone who asks people to quiet down until 5:00, then gives up, or for someone who comes to pick up 15-18-year-old girls and take them to their room.

We spent our honeymoon here, and it was unforgettable. The villa is gorgeous, cozy, and beautifully furnished, and we felt completely at home. Our room was lovely, with a really big bathroom and balcony. The park nearby is beautiful and kept immaculate. I’d happily come back anytime.

The rooms in this lovely villa were great, and the staff were very friendly. But the location was a real problem, right across from several clubs and discos with loud music going late into the night. Rain kept coming through our closed window and onto the bed, and the noise came straight in too. We raised this more than once. The friendly staff acknowledged our complaints, but nothing was fixed and no other solution was offered during our stay. Also, our room, Zsofia, hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived, though that was taken care of afterward.
