Zoldello Apartmanhaz

The hosts were polite and helpful, and the house was spotless and in perfect order. I stayed there with my family and we had a wonderful time. It’s just a few meters from the lake, with lovely outdoor areas for spending time as a group. The rooms are laid out perfectly. Highly recommended!

The house was so dirty, dusty, and full of cobwebs and spiders that it seemed badly cared for. We were uneasy about using the air conditioners. There were no mosquito screens, so airing the place meant letting spiders crawl inside. During our stay, dried weeds and plant waste were collected. Some windows were fenced off with wire, the mattresses were sagging, and the bathroom water was either hot or cold. The owners also used the garden as a passageway, which really intruded on our privacy as a family on holiday. There were 12 of us, including three small children, and we managed fine across the three floors. The owner was nice and helpful, but unfortunately we definitely won’t return. These things make it hard to relax.

It’s a nice little cottage, and both the Balaton shore and Petőfi promenade are nearby. There’s a lot of noise, with the beach close and the neighbor nearby too, so if you’re coming to Siófok to relax, this place isn’t for you. For partying, though, it’s perfect. The house could use a lot of cleaning, there were plenty of cobwebs, ants, and dust.

The host is helpful, but that doesn’t make up for how dirty and shabby the place is. It’s very retro, and absolutely filthy.
