The restaurant was amazing. I ate there several times, and every meal beat my expectations. There’s also their own bakery right next door. During my two days in Sopron, I stayed at this Panzio, which is central, modern, and clean, with friendly, helpful staff. You won’t be disappointed booking a night or eating at the restaurant.

We went to the restaurant twice during our stay in Sopron, and the food was unbelievable. The generous portions will definitely fill you up, so although prices are higher than you might find nearby, the quality and quantity are worth what you pay. The presentation and flavor were lovely, with Hungarian traditions given a modern touch. Service was impeccable, and there was a great selection of local and other Hungarian wines.

The restaurant had something great for everyone in our family. The kids’ menu was a hit, and the adults loved the burger. My husband said it might be the best he’s ever had. The hotel service was fabulous, with very helpful, friendly staff, and it’s perfectly located for exploring the city. There’s a small local bakery just to the left of the entrance, and the old town is a five-minute walk away. I highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

We’ll be back. It’s a great setting for a family lunch with kids and adults, or for a special occasion, and the service matches the atmosphere. I’m no expert, but there’s serious talent in that kitchen. The classics are good, though I’d urge you to try the seasonal menu. It’s a treat. The restaurant is a must visit!
