Madárlátta Vendégház

It was peaceful and quiet, and our room was clean and well equipped. The host was very nice, and we felt comfortable there.

We came with the family for the Fertő-tavi cycling race, and the woman who welcomed us was kind, helpful, and very flexible. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, and everything went smoothly. We could borrow bikes for free if we didn't have our own, which made it easy to get around town. I can only recommend the guesthouse.

Our holiday was ruined by the state of the apartment and the way the owner responded. When we arrived, we found poor cleaning: the refrigerator and bathroom were dirty, there was a musty, sweaty-dog smell, and the bedding was used, dirty, and smelly. The decorative pillow smelled nauseating, and we even found a cockroach in the kitchen. I called the owner about the smell and cleaning, and he confirmed it. We cleaned the fridge and bathroom ourselves. Later, when I called again about the bedding and cockroach and asked him to fix things, he refused and spoke insultingly, calling me crazy. We couldn't stay there with our family, including our two teenage boys and my wife, who was 35 weeks pregnant, so at midnight we had to find somewhere else to stay. The pictures online don't match what we found, and it felt deceptive. The treatment and what we experienced left a deep mark on the children and on us. I'm attaching photos as a warning to anyone considering Madráltta guesthouse. “Ruining your experience” could be its slogan. Dr. Gyula Csőre

Whether you're traveling through or staying longer, it's a fantastic place. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and the beds are clean and very comfortable.
