The breakfast had plenty of food and a good range of choices, and the rooms were spacious with everything we needed. Our hosts were lovely, happy to help and always up for a joke. There was ample parking and an outdoor terrace, with a swimming pool planned for the future. I was very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it.

The view towards Sümeg Castle is lovely, and the rooms have been excellent on each of my several visits. Breakfast is included, though the choices are somewhat limited. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi have unfortunately been out of order for years. Getting there can be tricky for inexperienced drivers: the gravel road ends on a steep stretch, and the turn into the nicely paved parking area is sharp.

We found plenty of attractions and places to explore nearby, and hope to come back soon with all five of our children. On this visit, we were a family with two kids, and the booking, welcome, and service were all handled precisely. The owner was exceptionally kind and flexible. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely furnished, with a magnificent view of the castle. Breakfast was generous and varied, and they could accommodate diabetic, reduced-carbohydrate meals too. We recommend it to everyone.

We'd happily come back. The rooms were clean, and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was very good, especially out on the terrace with that beautiful castle view.

The inn sits right by the forest, so all you hear is birdsong. We ended up arriving through the garden after getting lost in the woods, and were welcomed so warmly. From the terrace there's a lovely view of the castle. Olivér Irsai's coffee and wine (BIG&BIG) were delicious. I'd recommend this place if you want a break from your usual routine.
