ASYMI Apartman Szeged

We had a spacious, clean, and nice room at the maya residencia for three nights, and the location suited us well. Szeged feels like one huge university campus, so walking to the dom took about 15 minutes and was a pleasure in both the morning and evening.

The room was roomy and cosy, with a large bathroom, and everything matched the photos and description. Shops are close, including one just across the street, and there's a bus stop nearby. A bridge separates it from the city center. You can park on the street for free on weekends, or use the property parking, which costs extra and can't be reserved. The staff were incredibly friendly and answered all my questions quickly.

The restaurant served fantastic food, cooked when ordered, at very reasonable prices. The staff were amazing and made communication easy even though we don't speak Hungarian. Everyone working there was so helpful and did their best to make us comfortable. When our trailer was too tall to fit through the gate to the private parking, the receptionist moved her own car out front so we could park there. Thank you, you're a star! The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and a great W.C. The only downside is the lack of an elevator, so this won't suit anyone who can't manage stairs. It's a five-star stay for us, and we'll definitely be back.

The food was superb, a full five out of five, and there was a cafe downstairs. Even on the busiest Saturday evening, we didn't hear any noise from it, so we could rest. The furniture was very good quality, everything was clean, and the staff were polite. The rooms were fine, too. It's a little outside the center, but handy for the aquapark and next to the city park. The center is only about a 10-minute walk across a bridge.
