Gutenberg Apartments

Really lovely.

05.-07.12.25. We used the courtyard parking, entering through a side street and opening the large metal gate with a remote. The apartment was warm, tidy, and clean throughout. It’s a fully renovated, lovely place near the center of Szeged, at Petefi Sándor Street No. 6, with two bedrooms and a spacious living room. The building is older but clean, and you enter from the courtyard. The landlady Erika sends the instructions and codes for the front door and apartment key pickup.

Erika was very attentive, and I loved how clean the apartments were and where they’re located. If I come back to Szeged, I’ll definitely stay here again.

The city center is about a relaxed 10-minute walk, and the synagogue is only a few meters away. Parking around here is paid and spaces are limited, so it’s worth reserving one. We were really pleased with our stay and would recommend it. We rented the larger 72m² apartment on the third floor, with a street view partly blocked by a canopy. It felt like home at that size, with thoughtful interior design, plenty of built-in wardrobes, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large bathroom. The rooms were a good size, and the beds had comfortable but firm mattresses. The living room had a sofa and TV, among other things. The apartment was clean and clearly well cared for. The owner was kind and helpful.
