Breakfast was a real highlight, with a huge range of delicious dishes, although the coffee tasted a bit cheap beside the quality of the food. The room was pleasant, well equipped and clean, with a lovely view of the Tisza River. Staff were very friendly and ready to help. The bathroom layout made it quite cramped, and the mattresses weren’t as comfortable as I’d like. On our long trip from Spain to Romania, this was the best value-for-money hotel we found. It was easy to reach from the highway, while still close enough to walk into the city center. I’m very satisfied with our stay and would recommend it.

We were headed to Romania and initially wanted a Highway Motel, but gave the Novotel a try instead. Glad we did. The room was clean and modern, and we arrived in time for dinner. The food was excellent, as was breakfast. Its location also made it easy to take a walk after dinner. We’ll be back.

We had a family room for 2+2. The furniture was new, and the room was good, with a clean, functional bathroom. The big window had poor thermal and sound insulation, though it didn’t affect the room’s ambiance. It’s a kid-friendly hotel with separate play areas, and the breakfast was top level. The hotel deserves its 4* rating, and the city center is an amazing 10-minute walk away. Recommended.

We were lucky enough to be named “guest of the day.” That got us a 30 euro upgrade from a superior double room to an executive room, plus a voucher for a free drink for each person staying in the room.

It's a comfortable, dependable place. I liked the Rituals shower gel, though the water pressure could be stronger. Really good overall.
