For 20 euros, you get a spot for your camper or car for the night, plus access to toilets and an outdoor shower. It’s a pleasant wild camping area if you have a camper, and the facilities are pretty good by wild camping standards. Don’t expect hotel quality, though. The nearby bar gets pretty loud at night, which could bother some people trying to sleep, so ear plugs are recommended.

This is a nice, basic camp about 2 km from downtown Szeged. The houseboat restaurant is cosy and serves excellent Häfen draft beer. I’ve taken off one star because you have to stay on dusty ground for a one-night stay.

Even one star is too much. My daughter and I never want to see this camping again. I don’t recommend it.

By the river, this has a charming retro feel, and you can walk to the centre. The employees were nice and helpful.

Right in the town centre, with a friendly host and welcoming visitors. There was live music, and dog-loving people seemed to be everywhere.
