I made a mistake buying the Hungarian Vignette online and entered my car’s old registration number. The lady listened carefully and was very friendly, and she could speak English. She was super professional and helped with the problem. It’s easy to purchase an electronic vignette, but it’s good to have a human solution when something goes wrong. Other countries in the area, Romania for example, should take a lesson from this service.

Definitely not the right place. I had no hungarian forint, and the receptionist tried to get more money from me by exchanging my euros at a rate 20% lower than exchange offices. When I said it wasn’t fair, she told me that this was common practice in Szeged, and I’d say all Hungary. The room she gave me had a nonfunctional window latice and the warming tool was set to 30 degrees. I asked for another room with a curtain or something else for the window, but she handed me the key to a second room with the same problem. Definitely don’t recommend this place.

Free Wi-Fi, two beds and a TV, all checked. The shower was collapsing and covered in fungus, and there was a COCKROACH. DONT GO THERE! HONEST reviev after just 1 night passing by Sheged. I’d have changed rooms right away if I hadn’t been driving for most of the day. A friend found a second cockroach in their room.

They’re poorly organized and seem to call the police over every little thing, so be prepared to deal with that. The people were hostile, the place wasn’t clean or welcoming, and nobody was nice.

The bed creaked badly, and breakfast didn’t have enough food. There was no shampoo or soap in the room, and the TV had no channels or remote.
