Tomka Apartman

The apartment is spacious, in a really good location, and the price is acceptable for what you get. The one star is because, unfortunately, there’s no option to give half a star. The owner wasn’t reliable. He apparently hadn’t noticed the reservation, and we had to call four times. We waited more than half an hour to check in, even though it was 5 pm and we weren’t early. We booked the whole three-room apartment, and that was stated in the price, but we only used two rooms. After dinner in Szeged, we came back to find roommates in the apartment. I bet he’d rented the remaining empty room to them for the same amount. He quickly changed his story and said he hadn’t even seen our reservation. If you’re open-minded enough about that, I recommend the place. But if you want quiet and to get what you paid for, choose somewhere else, even if it’s farther from the centre. The parking is supposedly available, but you have to find it yourself. If you do, fine, and if not, then not. We also couldn’t get the air conditioning to work, if it works at all.

Everything was fine! :)
