We celebrated my birthday with the family at Hócza guesthouse and had a great time. It’s so well equipped, clean and homely, the kind of guesthouse that’s really hard to find. The hosts were very kind and helped us with everything. My adult children were happy to take over the foosball table, billiards and ping-pong table in the basement. There was even somewhere to work out. They could use the sauna after 8 pm as well, which was no problem. With five rooms, the guesthouse is a great fit for families or groups, and several people can sleep in the gallery too. I can only recommend it.

We rented the whole house for the weekend. It was clean and tidy, the host was professional, and the accommodation was perfect. Breakfast was impeccable and well worth adding. There were indoor bikes, too. Excellent value for money, highly recommend it!

We stayed five nights in the apartment with our children and friends. The house was clean, tidy and homely :) Mr. Hócza even mailed us the coffee maker we’d forgotten! If we go to Szilvásvárad, we’ll stay with him again :) I recommend it to everyone!
