The nature around here is fantastic, maybe the most beautiful part of the country. That’s the main reason we keep coming back, and you can really relax and enjoy your stay. The rooms and wellness facilities are nice, too. Be sure to book a room in the castle itself, not the nearby building. Breakfast and dinner are much like what you’d get at other 4-5-star hotels in Hungary, nothing special, though the Hungarian cuisine and food are good. One of our favorite places in Hungary!

It’s a scenic place with a spacious, well-equipped room and a great view, though I imagine that depends on which room you get. The food and service were great, and the staff were friendly. We had everything we needed for a relaxing, easy stay.

We really enjoyed the hotel, its surroundings, and the food. Dinner had a good selection in particular, and everything was delicious. The staff were welcoming and very kind. The wellness area is great, with three saunas and two pools, including one outside. The bathroom floor is slippery. There’s a warning sign, but I still don’t understand why they didn’t use a safer, grippy surface.

The location is good, and the view from a balcony room in the manor house is especially nice. We booked half board, but dinner was a big disappointment: the portions were sparse and there wasn’t much to choose from. We also got stuck in the elevator for 25 minutes. A maintenance man got us out, but none of the staff checked whether we were okay. Only after I raised my voice did reception call the hotel manager. He first offered a 50 percent discount. I said that didn’t make up for the awful experience, and he then agreed not to charge us for our stay.

The dinner buffet was great, and the rooms are large and have saunas. The room was a bit hot because the AC wasn’t really controllable, so a fan would be useful. There’s no complimentary water in the room, so you’ll need to buy some at the front desk.
