Tapolka is a beautiful town, especially the lake in the center with its fish, boats, and ducks. The cave was peaceful, with clean air, quiet surroundings, and enough deck chairs and blankets. The food had a very good selection and quality, the room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the fridge had useful items. Pool water and air massages ran regularly, the water temperature was excellent, and the saunas were clean and set to the right temperatures. Both massages were very good, the “EXOTIC ASIAN AROMA OIL MASSAGE” and the “AROMA MASSAGE with tropical mango passion balm.” The bathtub's plastic curtain should be changed to a hard plastic or glass door, which would be more hygienic and easier to clean. We booked partly because we wanted saunas where synthetic swimsuits and towels weren't allowed, since synthetics can give off a toxic, unpleasant smell at high temperatures. Before booking, Szilvia told us, “We do have a textile free (FKK) sauna available for guests who prefer this option,” but that turned out not to be true. There's no adults-only sauna, unlike at other hotels we've visited, such as Hotel Karos Spa. The Finnish saunas smell unpleasant when many guests come in wearing bathing suits. Guests followed proper sauna etiquette only during the sauna master's 30-minute daily program. There isn't enough staff supervision or clear written conduct guidance in the sauna area, so people behave inappropriately, for example, by entering the Turkish/steam bath with cotton towels.

This is a great place for families with kids, whether they're small or up to 12. There's a little kindergarten inside where you can leave your child with the teachers and relax in the hot water or pool. The staff are lovely, kind, and helpful. They support the kids in every way, and if your child doesn't come to the restaurant, they can bring the food to your room. It gives you time to rest. 100% recommend for families.

It's only a four-minute walk to the city center, and the location is perfect. The hotel is very child-friendly, with warm, friendly staff. The sauna facilities are new and well maintained. The room is a bit small, but they offer an extra bed. Thanks to the helpful reception, I got a limited Lake Cave boat tour ticket. The playground is free, and the paid mini golf is fun for a family trip.

A nice hotel, though a little dated, and good for smaller kids. The food is lovely, but they don't provide free water with meals. There was no kettle or complimentary coffee in the room.

I love this place. The wellness facilities are excellent, including a cave for therapeutic relaxation, and there's a good selection of food with plenty of it. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.
