The basement apartments were awful and extremely hot, with no airflow or fresh air. The upstairs ones seem to have better ventilation, so you may need luck to get one. The listing photos show only the upper rooms, and the basement rooms aren’t clearly identified as being in the basement rather than on the first floor. That doesn’t feel fair when you don’t get what you thought you were paying for.
The staff are friendly and manage to make you feel at home. The conditions were very good, and everything was clean. It’s a peaceful, quiet location. From a garden-facing room, you can hear birds singing and there’s no traffic noise. Garden Panzio is in Tiszaujvaros, a friendly city built on a Western model for the Hungarian MOL company.
I like the place. It’s fine for a short visit.
We ended up here unexpectedly for one night, and now we’re coming back. Whenever we stay in Tiszaújváros from now on, we’ll choose this place. It’s cozy, elegant, clean, and well equipped.
The service is friendly and helpful, and there are laundry facilities. It’s clean, and I always enjoy coming here. They speak English, so there’s no problem.
