Hotel Cabernet

Wonderful hospitality, a great place, and divine food!

The food was divine, and the desserts were so good they were worth praying for. The people were kind, too. We got a two-night half-board stay here as a gift at the beginning of November. Even in autumn, the garden was a delight: each planted or potted plant had a lovely shape for the season, and flowers and ornamental plants felt like jewels around the building. I couldn’t tell whether the rosemary by the restaurant entrance was a different variety or an evergreen trimmed in an interesting way, but I found it very special. I only wish the history of the former building were available somewhere, as it could be interesting.

The New Year’s Eve dinner and music evening were both high quality, and the New Year’s wine dinner felt special and above average. We were completely satisfied with the package: everything advertised was provided, and the staff were so kind and did all they could to make us feel welcome. They really went beyond what they had to, without letting service suffer. Thank you very much. I’d gladly recommend it, and we’ll definitely come back! 🥰

I’m sharing pictures from the New Year’s wine dinner. The flavors and colors were fantastic, with wines to match. It lasted almost two hours, and we left full and satisfied. We had a great time, and I can definitely recommend the hotel’s wine tasting dinners.
