Like Hotel Vonyarc

There’s a big private yard and parking was excellent. The staff were kind, and the place felt cozy and pleasant. The rooms have been renovated nicely, with a bathroom that feels a bit more upscale than you’d expect for this category. The glass door is an odd choice since everything inside is visible from outside.

The beach is very close, and there’s plenty for kids to do. The pool was clean, with loungers and umbrellas around it, and the staff were pleasant without hovering. Our room and bathroom were spacious and nicely furnished, the bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was quiet. The balcony could use a little more work, but it had a small table, two chairs, and a clothes rack, which you don’t even get in many 4* hotels around Balaton. The hotel is clean and keeps getting improved. We had a great stay and would come back. 😊

We really appreciated the warm welcome, and parking inside the hotel grounds was free. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with the option to eat on the terrace. You could buy cold drinks at reception all day, including beer, soft drinks, water, and there was a wine cooler too. There’s a ping pong table, table football, and a play corner with games for kids. The staff were super friendly, the price was good for the service, and the beach is just 50m away. I’d recommend it for a stay on the northern shore of Lake Balaton.

The ping pong table, bike and scooter rentals, and beach entrance just 30 meters away were all nice extras. The staff were helpful, polite, and kind, and the rooms were clean and great for either couples or families. I didn’t get to try breakfast myself because the beds were far too comfortable.
