Mokus Vendeghaz

We chose Mókus Guesthouse for a team building trip with eight people. It’s in a peaceful setting, with a huge garden and space for cauldron cooking and outdoor games. We were welcomed with wine and fruit. For the price, it was an excellent choice. The clean rooms, modern bathrooms, spacious living room and two fridges make it suitable for big groups and families. If you don’t want to spend your time cooking, the nearby lookout tower and the wine bar/restaurant next to it make a good starting or finishing point for a pleasant hike. A great place to stay in any season!

The courtyard is laid out thoughtfully, and the communal areas are really good. We had fun trying archery, playing cauldrons and grilling on a grill. It was lovely listening to the birds at dawn. We were happy to be here, thank you 😊🤗

We’ve spent six summers with János at Mókusház, and we love it there so much 🥰 We’re going back with our friends again this year. The rooms are clean and well arranged, and there’s an equipped kitchen, outdoor cooking and grilling facilities, and a sauna. Kids have a playground, and there’s a parking lot with a soccer field. It’s a beautiful setting, and the owner is friendly and helpful. The bath is about a kilometer away. I highly recommend it for larger families and groups of friends.
