I wasn't at the apartment or on vacation, yet I paid the full amount. When I asked the owner for an invoice, he said I also had to pay the tourist tax before he would issue one. He charges the entire booking as a cancellation fee if you cancel. We didn't accept the booking or pay twice, which is why we never went. Right after the cancellation, he doubled the apartment price. I have all the evidence. He lied and used Booking.com to spread his version. A scam from start to finish. Stay away.
