Villa Zala

We found Zalakaros fresh and pleasant, with lots of green spaces. Nagykanizsa is about 10 km away, and Keszthely about 40 km. The lake wasn't completely filled when we visited, though it has been since. The building looks beautiful, and the setting is lovely. Inside, the shared areas feel welcoming and homey. The apartment has everything needed, from a two-burner stove, microwave, fridge and coffee maker to dishes, glasses, cutlery, salt, sugar, coffee and creamer. There's an 80 cm LED TV with over 100 channels, a spacious bathroom with a hairdryer, shelf, towels and liquid soap, air conditioning included in the room price, storage in a built-in wardrobe, and a separate toilet. Feri was a great host, easy to talk to, quick to respond if anything came up, and never made a request seem difficult. He greeted us with chilled wine and mineral water. Parking is covered, though the space may be tricky for novice drivers 😉. For shopping, I think Kanizsa is the better choice.

There’s a big pool, and you can cook or grill out in the yard. The house matched what we expected and had everything we needed. It's on a quiet street, a little farther from the center.

The rooms were clean, the setting was quiet, and there was secure parking inside the courtyard. The hospitality was second to none, and they were very helpful.

Thanks for everything. This was just the right place to stay, and I hope I get to relax here again! :)
