We had a clean, comfortable apartment with everything we needed. The staff were very kind, and it’s a nice place to relax. We can definitely recommend it.

The place was clean and spacious, with extremely friendly staff. The location was good, not far from the center.

There are a lot of cupboards, and the apartment has two bedrooms, so nobody had to sleep in the living room or keep walking past everyone else. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and we even had a cot. The free beach is about 200 meters down the street, with a snack bar, clean toilets and changing rooms, and a sandbox. Across from the apartment there are two places to eat and drink, a greengrocer, a boutique, and an expensive grocery store. It’s a quiet resort area with a playground. The apartment is spacious, but the low attic ceiling really takes away from the experience. The towels are only suitable as hand towels, so we were glad we brought bath towels. There’s air conditioning only in the living room, and the old unit couldn’t cool the apartment in the heat. A fan for the bedrooms would be useful. The kitchen is basic but has plenty of equipment: a half-liter glass per person, plates, spoons, knives, a saucepan, pasta strainer, cheese grater, large knife, coffee maker, microwave, and a gas stove with an oven. In the six-person apartment there were only four forks for five of us. Dish soap, a sponge, salt, and pepper were provided, but we needed our own paper towels, kitchen cloth, and sponge. There was just enough toilet paper, though it ran out on the second-to-last day. The shower kept switching between hot and cold every minute, so we couldn’t get it to a steady temperature. You could feel the bedspring in the larger bedroom, and since we can’t sleep without a small pillow, we had to bring one. We couldn’t use the garden grill because a larger group had booked it for the whole week, so we cooked the food we brought in the kitchen. If these smaller problems are fixed, this could be a really nice place for a vacation.

The host was very friendly and helpful, and there’s a lockable storage room for bikes. We stopped here for one night during our Balaton circuit. Our apartment was roomy, with air conditioning in the living room. The location is especially convenient: the small shop, Halas Karcsi, and the beach are only a few steps away.
