10/10
The staff were ready to help whenever I needed something, and the hotel felt pleasant to stay in. My room and the rest of the place were very clean, which made me comfortable right away. I couldn't really enjoy the view because the weather was poor during my stay, but I've heard it can be lovely when conditions are good. Hotel Griya Wijaya Ambarawa is a good option in Ambarawa if you want a clean place with helpful staff and the chance of a nice view.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was good value. It's an easy five-minute walk to Gua Maria Kerep, with a few places to eat nearby. My room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was clean too. The room had good facilities, though there were a few marks on the sheet and pillow. I could accept that. The atmosphere was quiet and felt safe. I love this hotel.

The staff were super friendly, and I really liked the motel-style layout. It seemed child friendly, and the shower mixer issue wasn't a big deal since it doesn't get too cold in the area. The place was close to perfect for me, but I'm giving it four stars because there was too much light at night. Automatic sensors, spotlights that don't spill into the rooms, or dimmer bulbs would help.

The food was decent, and the room was fairly clean. The place feels more like a motel, though the room decor could use some work. My room had only one working power outlet. There wasn't a tub or a separate standing shower, just a step-down shower area.

The staff were very helpful, and I found the room exceptionally clean. I walked around barefoot and couldn't feel any dust. It seems like a good place to stay for a religious trip or if you want to catch the entry line for Museum Kereta Api Ambarawa.
