I stayed five nights, and the service was just okay. They didn’t show much initiative, and being put in a smoking room when I don’t smoke was unpleasant. My deluxe room was clean and large for a budget hotel, but the Wi-Fi and phone signal were really poor inside. Breakfast was acceptable for this kind of place. What bothered me was guests smoking in the air-conditioned dining area, which isn’t good when there are children around.

Cold AC, a nice bed, and hot water were the good parts. The internet was dial-up slow, which I expected, and there were a few bugs, though not too many. But at 300,000 rupiah, no towels and broken lights felt like poor value. I’d expect that at a 50-75,000 losmen. Downtown Ambon is a decent base, near restaurants and the center of whatever action there is. At 150,000 rupiah I’d recommend it; for 300,000, it’s overpriced.

A nice hotel at a reasonable price. The facilities are limited, but you get about what you pay for. There may be slightly better places, though.

It’s a nice, clean hotel, but the hot water flow wasn’t normal. Management should keep an eye on things and the workers need upgrading. The lobby was also too noisy.

It’s in a strategic spot, and I’ve stayed here four times now. So far things have been good, except the Wi-Fi on the 3rd and 4th floors, which really hasn’t been very good.
