The sky terrace has a great view over the harbour and city, and the rooms are pleasant and clean. Breakfast was good too. For a three-star hotel, it’s a good option if you’re on a tight budget. Being in the city center can mean traffic during rush hour, though it’s calm at other times. English can be tricky since not all the staff speak it, but they always find someone who does. The lift gets busy sometimes, so another one might help.

We were happy with the hotel until checkout, when they charged us 5 euros for a towel that was dirty before we used it. It felt like a bad way to make a quick buck. The hotel needs management with a better long-term vision.

The evening view was amazing, and the atmosphere was lively with music, singing, and great people. We had a wonderful time. The pool and Skybar are musts, and the food and drinks were delicious.

The rooftop gives you a 320° view of kota Ambon. Pick the seat and view you like, and try to get there between 3 and 5 pm.
