That sunset over the rice fields was a lovely way to end the day, and there are paved paths nearby for a walk or jog. We liked Griya Bun Sari enough to add a second night after booking just one. The staff were warm and made us tasty meals that felt like home cooking. Our room was clean and roomy, with air conditioning, and the pool was a nice extra. A couple of places to eat and a market are within walking distance.

The owners were so thoughtful and helpful, even making breakfast or dinner whenever I needed it. The room and pool were both spotless. It felt like a quiet little oasis among all the greenery, while still being close to everything. I had a wonderful stay. See you soon, my friend!

We were there for a family get-together, and everyone enjoyed the stay. It’s quiet and away from the crowds, and some rooms look out over the pool and rice fields. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. I’d bring my own bathroom toiletries, even though some are provided. Also pack your preferred morning coffee: they only supply two sachets of sweet Indonesian coffee, with no tea, milk or creamer, or sugar. Everyone in the family was happy.

The view from the top floor over the rice fields was expansive, and there are lovely walks through the fields nearby. I felt peaceful and recharged here after the busy centre of Ubud. The rooms were comfortable and had good facilities, including the new pool. The owners were welcoming and made me feel at home, with delicious Balinese meals and plenty of effort to make my stay relaxing. It was affordable, too. A great choice if you want a quiet stay among the rice fields and kind hosts.

It’s some way from central Ubud, so getting around by bike is fine, but otherwise you’ll need Grab. The staff and management were friendly. The room was an OK size, with a comfortable bed and balcony. The bathroom ceiling needs maintenance to get rid of mold.
