Arnolds Family Homestay

Arnold and his family were so kind during our two nights there. The house was very clean, and we liked the feeling of staying in their family home. Our room had its own private door, so it was easy to come and go. Arnold shared lots of useful information about Bajawa, suggested where we could rent a motorbike, and arranged a shared taxi to Labuan Bajo. We'd definitely recommend staying here. Staying with Arnold and his family was a real highlight of our trip. He welcomed us warmly, shared a lot about Flores and the local culture, and gave us great suggestions for day trips. He also helped arrange our taxis. We loved being there and are grateful for the days we spent at their place.

I ended up extending my stay because Arnold's family home was such a good fit for me. It's calm, well located near the center, and my bright room was comfortable and clean. Mister Arnold and the family helped arrange visits around the area, and the food was delicious. Some dishes were ones I hadn't found at other homestays or even restaurants. Staying there made my time in Bajawa much richer.

Arnold made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, and there was always someone nice in the family home to greet me. Just keep in mind that the bathroom is shared with the family and you have to go into their house to use it. My two nights at Arnolds Hometay were wonderful, with a big, clean room.
