The best part for me was the genuine hospitality and warm atmosphere. Kristian, his wife, and the staff made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. They're kind and helpful, and glad to share advice about the area and local culture. The homestay is peaceful, with lovely views of the mountains and countryside, and a great place to unwind after exploring Bajawa and nearby villages. My room was comfortable and the service was excellent. Thanks to Kristian and his wife for making my stay so memorable. I'd happily recommend Kristian Homestay to anyone visiting Bajawa.

There's a lovely view of mount Inieri from the second floor, and the homestay is tucked off the main street while still within walking distance of an Alfamart, a nice cafe, and plenty of restaurants. The common areas are comfortable, with free self-serve coffee, tea, and water. The staff were lovely, friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast came with fresh fruit, the WiFi worked well, and the showers had hot water and good pressure. There were enough outlets in the rooms to charge our electronics. Can't recommend it enough.

One of my favorite places in Flores. Maria and Kristian are wonderful, super friendly people who can help you organize things if you need it. They're happy to talk about their culture and family, and answer questions about the ethnic groups. The beds are comfortable, the shower is hot, and there's a great view of mount Inerie from the breakfast area. And as a bonus, there are suuuper cute cats. Loved it, and thanks for everything!
