We only booked four nights at Aquaterrace, but I could happily have stayed for four weeks. It’s a peaceful little oasis with lovely views and really good food. The bedrooms were spacious, beautiful, and spotless, and Chandra and the staff were always there when we needed them. Perfect for switching off.

The pool, the views, the food, and the service were all lovely, and the rooms were clean and attractive. My friends and I had the place to ourselves, which made the stay feel blissfully peaceful. Chandra was wonderful, the wine was good value, and we couldn’t find a single downside. I can’t wait to visit again. This is now my favourite place to stay in Amed.

I really loved the pool, and apart from a few issues, this was a very good place to stay. The main road runs right past, so there’s a lot of beeping and truck noise. There was also a lizard in my room, and the toilet and shower doors are a little see-through. Dinner on the first night took about an hour to arrive, which was frustrating.

After two weeks travelling around Bali, this was easily the best food we’d had. UCIL and the whole team were amazing. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

The rooms are spacious, and the ocean views are beautiful and uninterrupted. Having Sensatia products was a nice extra. The beds were a letdown, though: the single mattresses pushed together felt cheap. We also found the restaurant food disappointing, and the nearby road made things noisy. The room was the best part, but next time we’d probably stay somewhere else.
