The room was decent, but the rest of our two day stay, booked through the 30 Sundays agency as part of our Bali trip, was disappointing. The pool is extremely small and doesn’t look as appealing as the pictures. A floating breakfast was meant to be arranged on day one but wasn’t provided because of the weather. The hotel told the agency it had been arranged, which was misleading. Breakfast had just 2-3 items in tiny portions, poor quality for the premium price. They also provided only one 300 ml bottle of water per person for the whole stay. The property is far from the city, shops, and main tourist attractions, making travel inconvenient and time consuming. It wasn’t worth the money, and there are better options in Ubud for service, location, and value. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Breakfast was decent, with 3-4 options, and I had a good stay overall. The property is quite decent, but the furniture is visibly old and should be replaced. Maybe they’re already changing it, but I’m not sure. There’s no elevator to go down, which makes getting up very problematic. I hope they look into that.

The facilities were good, aside from the long stairs and the lack of a phone in the villas. I’m giving it one star because of what happened with the deposit. They took 900K IDR, saying it would be returned at checkout after deducting any extras like lunch or dinner. At checkout they refused to refund it and didn’t provide bills, then said they’d send the money in 3-4 days. It’s been five days and I’m still waiting, and my shopping plans were completely spoiled. I do not recommend this stay to anyone.

The staff are good and it’s a nice place. Just know that if you order from the villa restaurant, you have to pay by card because they don’t accept cash. They should accept cash too.

Don’t book here. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give it. My daughter and her friend arrived in the afternoon on 8-24-25, using our timeshare week for her Bali trip. The grounds looked stunning, but problems started in their villa. The phone didn’t work and they were told it wouldn’t be fixed, so they had to use what’s app to contact the front desk. The downstairs toilet was fixed, but the outlets didn’t work properly and later started smoking while they charged their phones. The living room A/C also didn’t work and they were told it wouldn’t be repaired. Before they even reached the villa, they had to pay &140 for utilities, though honestly, what utilities? They checked out early after just one night because they didn’t feel safe. When washing their hands, they also got a low voltage electrical shock. They found another place to stay and left promptly. The resort has since refunded the utility payment, but tried to short change them and even charge them for leaving early. I’ve notified our timeshare company and recommended they stop sending timeshare holders here.
