The massages were a real highlight. The women were professional, knew their work, and were lovely. We also enjoyed eating at the restaurant, where the staff learned our names. Since it was off season, the resort was quiet and we got the rest we needed. We felt at home from the minute we arrived. I’d happily recommend staying here.

This nearly 30-year-old resort has grown in stages over the years. It’s a huge place that can accommodate groups of different sizes, with lush tropical gardens and a mix of classic Balinese and modern architecture. There are two pools, two yoga shalas, a pool-view restaurant, a pool bar, a pizza corner, an on-site spa, a semi-open meeting room and a performance stage. You can get here by bus. There are lots of stairs down to the main pool, though, and no wheelchair access.

A cozy, lovely villa with great views and everything you need. It’s budget friendly too, and we really enjoyed our stay. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere beautiful and comfortable without spending too much.

The service is incredible, everyone looks after you, and the resort is so quiet it feels like you have it to yourself. The rooms are very big and the air conditioning works amazingly. A couple of small details could be better: the pool bar was empty, and although the bathroom looks great in the pictures, the shower is fixed pointing outward rather than overhead. Just little things, though. It’s a great place to hide away, and it’s close to the attractions.
