We booked Room 301 and 302 for 3 nights, but checked out after just 2 hours. There was BLACK MOULD on the pool steps, green algae on the walls and floor, and black mould on many surfaces and pots around the resort. The pool and room towels stunk, like they hadn’t been washed properly or dried long enough. We accidentally left food in the fridge, then came back to find it gone, and nobody took it! The resort was very run down, and the rooms needed a thorough clean. The room phones didn’t work, and the outdoor shower was a mozzie haven. No refunds were offered, and the magnets denial was a joke. We got a shrug and denial about the BLACK MOULD. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, we thought we’d found a small local hotel for a short stay in Lovina. DO NOT BOOK!

The people here make you feel welcome right away, and the beach is right there. It’s a peaceful, beautiful place with plenty of Balinese charm, just right for unwinding and getting a feel for Bali.

Being right on the water is the one good thing I can say about this place. The room was damaged and dirty, with peeling paint and electrical issues. The fridge was filthy, and neither the phone nor the safe worked. There was mould in the pool too. They don’t give refunds, so don’t stay here.

With so few guests around in low season, the staff had time to chat, and they were excellent. It’s a lovely traditional Bali hotel, with a large room, good Wi-Fi and a gorgeous dining room.

I was meant to stay three nights, but the place was in very bad shape and felt dangerous. There were holes in the walls with wires hanging out, a filthy fridge and black mould in the pool. I couldn’t stay and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. They refused a refund, saying it wasn’t their policy and that they were sorry.
