Blanjong Homestay was fantastic value. I paid just £10 a night on Agoda, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sanur. The manager was lovely, welcoming me each morning and always ready to answer questions or help. I didn’t catch his name, but he seemed to work from early morning until late at night and came across as a genuinely kind, hardworking person. The shared kitchen was handy, with fridge space and water you could help yourself to. My room had a comfortable, roomy bed, good air conditioning, and a TV with YouTube and Netflix, which was a nice treat after a day out. The bathroom was clean and had hot water and soap. There wasn’t a wardrobe, but the chest of drawers held all my things. The room was just the right size. It’s a great location, a short walk from the beach and lots of restaurants. I’d especially recommend Hanoi by MeVui nearby for really delicious, authentic Vietnamese food at reasonable prices.

Pak Martin and Pak Julian run this place, and they’re genuinely kind, hardworking, and always ready to help. I’d feel in good hands with them again when I return to Sanur. The homestay is simple and basic, but comfortable, with the amenities I needed. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hot shower had good pressure. It’s around a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, with plenty of warungs, eateries, and mini-marts nearby for whatever you need. Great value, and I was very satisfied.

A nice place with lovely hosts, but we could hear a lot of noise from the bypass at night. It seemed to be large groups of kids doing illegal bike races. With Sanur such a tourist destination, I’m surprised the police or authorities don’t put a stop to it.

It was easy to get Grab from here, and I loved having a kitchen with free coffee and drinking water. We really enjoyed our stay. The water pressure was very strong and the heater worked well.
