Dwaraka The Royal Villas

The food was the one letdown for me. The Indian menu is limited, and what we tried didn’t taste up to the mark. If you want more variety, it’s better to order through the Grab app. The rest of the stay was perfect. Our villa was spacious and comfortable, and having a private pool was a great extra for a honeymoon. It’s close to Ubud market, so getting out for shopping was easy.

The hotel is a little secluded from the city center, but there’s a free shuttle. I had a wonderful time there. The people were lovely, remembered our room number and name when greeting us, and asked whether we wanted the room cleaned. There were two nice swimming pools, with free towels to use at the pool. I also had amazing tuna and satay at the restaurant.

The peaceful atmosphere and lush garden are why I keep coming back to Dwaraka. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, and the spacious villas are beautifully designed, spotless, and full of authentic Balinese charm. Breakfast and the services are excellent. It all feels homely while still being luxuriously relaxing. Thanks to the whole team for another lovely stay. I’m already looking forward to returning.

If you’re after peace, quiet, and culture, you won’t be disappointed. The location in Ubud is calm, but it’s easy to reach the center when you want some bustle. The rooms and Villas are to a high standard and feel very traditional. The onsite restaurant is outstanding, the Spa is amazing, and the Staff are always ready to help.
