Griya Santrian a Beach Resort & Spa

The location was handy, just a few minutes' walk from the Icon and the main street, with plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. We hired a bike for 50k and rode along the path and back. The pool area was lovely, with lots of loungers and chairs, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was huge, modern, and clean. The internet worked well, and the TV had lots of options. The bathroom was massive, with a good shower and amenities, though a few wall hooks for towels would help. Breakfast had plenty of choices. We also tried the cultural night, but it wasn't especially good, so I wouldn't do it again.

Our family, ranging in age from 9 to 76, had a wonderful stay at Griya Santrian in February 2026, and everyone was more than satisfied. We barely noticed any renovations around the resort, despite what some construction reviews might lead you to expect. The sidewalks along the hotel's front are fully finished and easy to walk along. With its gorgeous gardens, lovely staff, easy beach access, and great spot in Sanur, this traditional Balinese style hotel is an excellent choice.

Sanur is my pick because it's quieter but still has good bars and restaurants nearby. If you fancy a singalong, I'd recommend the wicked Parrot. We stayed seven nights in a terraced deluxe room, which had plenty of space, great facilities, and was only a few steps from the pool. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast had a good selection, and the bar and restaurant are well placed for sunset and good value. I'd definitely come back. For a private day trip, I'd use Discova.

The new villa we stayed in last week was comfortable and spacious, and we couldn't have asked for more. The resort is beautiful and peaceful, with good restaurants, coffee spots, and the Icon all within walking distance. The staff were helpful too. We'd love to return in a few years.
