That road noise did reach my room in the early morning, since the windows aren't double glazed, but the room itself was comfortable and had an ocean view. I also really liked the pool, the good breakfast and the small gym, which has quality Matrix equipment. The staff were always smiling and made me feel welcome. The upgraded, recently restored Garden Inn Bali is a short walk from Conrad Bali, and I found it very good value. Seems like a good fit for a small meeting or conference. Enjoy.

I was worried there might not be much for vegetarians or vegans, but the reception team reassured us that the chef would sort it out. Head Chef Frendi met us the next morning and made a lovely Indian dhal and veg fried rice, then surprised us later with an amazing veg khadai. The spices were just right, with hardly any oil or cream, and the vegetables took on the flavor really well. When Frendi wasn't there, his colleague served us an excellent Balinese veg dish too. The reception staff also gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit. Thanks to Frendi, his team and the Hilton staff for a great holiday.

It was handy having restaurants and massage places just a 2-3 minute walk away, including nice Indian restaurants. I even got a 30min pedicure for as little as $7AUD. At the hotel, dinner and breakfast were delicious, with a good breakfast selection. We had nasi goreng with satay chicken, prawns in Balinese red spice, the fish dish from the dinner menu and tarte with ice cream. They were able to take care of dietary requirements too. Our room was spotless, and the new hotel felt very comfortable. We loved the gym and pool, and the staff were so friendly. Thanks to Hilton and everyone there for a memorable stay. Bula Vinaka. The location isn't as convenient as the hotels right along the beach strip, but the team more than made up for that. MIRA at reception was especially helpful, always kind and smiling, and went out of her way to sort out what we needed. With fewer guests around, staff remembered our names throughout the visit, which made things feel personal. The newly opened Garden Inn was well maintained, and the hospitality was far beyond what I've experienced at other Garden Inn properties. We had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend it.
