I booked two rooms so my sister and I could sleep and relax, but the staff weren't helpful. In room 226, the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming as soon as we walked in. We tried to stay positive and give it some time, but the strong smell was still there each time we returned. We only wanted to enjoy our time there.

At last, a place where things make sense. The room was small but thoughtfully designed and colored, with good fengsui. Definitely good value, and the breakfast area has a friendly interior.

The staff were nice, but the damp, moldy smell was awful. It hit us in the lobby and continued in the elevator, the third-floor hallway, and our room. The AC was set to maximum cooling, yet it only worked like a fan, with no cooling or dehumidifying at all. It just made noise. The bath towel smelled filthy and looked grey instead of white. Using it felt disgusting, but I'd already showered before I noticed. Ibis should remove this hotel from its franchise if they don't want to be associated with it.

I booked ten days for work, and the AC leaks. Twice, housekeeping has "forgotten" my room. The second time, I complained to the front desk after also speaking directly with housekeeping. It's now 6pm, and the room still hasn't been cleaned. I'm still waiting to shower and relax for the evening, even after checking with housekeeping again when I came back from errands. Depending on what you need, the location may not work well either, since it's far from most of the nicer malls.
